Community Catch is pleased to announce that the Orkney Crab Creel Fishery has now entered the Community Catch evaluation process, with NSF. This step marks the beginning of an independent assessment to determine whether the fishery meets the requirements of the Community Catch Standard for Small-Scale Fisheries.

The 30-day stakeholder consultation period will remain open until 9th May 2026. During this time, stakeholders are encouraged to review the available documentation and submit comments.
