Recently, the Community Catch team met in person to consolidate the next steps for the Community Catch initiative. The discussions were really productive, with the team feeling united in their vision of harnessing market demand to support the sustainable development of small-scale fisheries. Community Catch’s focus in the coming month’s will be to pilot the initiative with small-scale fisheries to garner as much community level feedback and involvement as possible, as well as working towards public consultation.
