Join the Community Catch Membership
Why Become a Community Catch member?
Individuals or businesses in the seafood supply chain who are buying, selling, processing, packing or transporting seafood from a Community Catch Certified fishery or a fishery engaged in an active Community Catch Fishery Improvement Project.
The purpose of the membership is to ensure that the chain of custody from the fishery client to the final point of sale is maintained and all members in the chain contribute to the Community Catch Initiative and its aims to support small scale fisheries by improving sustainability of both global fish stocks and aquatic ecosystems, boosting market recognition and promoting long term prosperity.
To ensure the integrity of the Community Catch certification and Improvement projects are maintained the chain of custody will be independently verified. This ensures the integrity of the entire Community Catch supply chain from fishing boat to the final consumer.
