Conservación Sostenible de los Recursos Marinos y Acuáticos A.C. (COSOREMA) is a Mexican organization that supports cooperatives and fishing communities in their transition toward sustainable and competitive practices. Our work includes:

Support to achieve international certifications and standards (e.g., digital traceability, sustainable fisheries, social equity).

Organizational and community strengthening, including cooperative governance, gender equity, and youth training.

Environmental and ecosystem management, promoting selective fishing gears, impact reduction, and conservation of mangroves and marine habitats.

Connection with responsible markets, generating added value and new commercial opportunities for fisheries.

Based in Mexico, with experience across the Pacific and Caribbean, COSOREMA provides tailored technical and social solutions that ensure benefits reach both ecosystems and fishing communities, while also linking them to high-value markets such as North America and Europe.
